Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to purchases made through the Xanadu Books online shop, operated by Process Creative Ltd.

Seller

Xanadu Books is operated online by Process Creative Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 09149358. Full company details are in our Legal Notice.

One-off stock and descriptions

Most listings represent one specific physical copy. Photographs, condition notes, edition information, jacket notes, inscriptions, dimensions and other listing details form part of the description. Ask for clarification or extra photographs before ordering if a detail is important to you.

Orders and payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy. An order is accepted when payment is completed and confirmation is issued, subject to stock availability and fraud checks. If a unique item has sold elsewhere or a material listing error is discovered, we may cancel and refund the order.

Prices and tax

Prices are shown in the currency presented by the store or checkout. Shopify calculates the checkout total. Printed books are configured according to the applicable UK tax treatment; other product types may be treated differently when launched.

Delivery

Available delivery methods and charges are shown at checkout. Dispatch estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates. Please check the address supplied at checkout.

International orders

International delivery may be available at checkout for selected destinations. International customers are responsible for customs duties, import VAT, taxes, clearance fees or local delivery charges unless checkout expressly states otherwise. Delivery times can vary because of customs processing and local postal services.

Cancellation and returns

UK consumers buying online normally have 14 days after receiving goods to tell us they wish to cancel, followed by another 14 days to return them. Exceptions and the full process are explained in our Returns Policy. Statutory rights are not affected.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
