Is in a brown slipcase with same beige linen strips on top and bottom. No inscription or name. Exceptionally clean and tight (as new). Superb Illustrations. "Sir Hugh Casson has observed that Hogarth's drawings "positively crackle with wit". That is true of some of the eight watercolours but others in this volume crackle almost audibly with the explosion of bombs and gunfire. In addition to the full-page colour plates, he has drawn over a dozen monochrome vignettes to keep the text pages crackling".
