The Margaret Tarrant Birthday Book
Hardback (11.4 × 17.1cm). Light red cloth covers with titles and decoration in black on front cover and spine. A little rubbing to ends of spine and down spine edge and corners. First page has slight foxing. Internally clean and tight. No inscription or name in front of book but there are neat names in quite a few of the birthday dates. Each date has a poetic verse on opposite page. There are 12 Superb tipped-in colour illustrations by Margaret Tarrant with a small verse below and also some very Attractive vignettes in green at the beginning and end of book.
