Hardback (7 1/2" x 10). Dark green covers with stamped decoration of boy and girl making sandcastles and titles in gilt on front cover. Red cloth spine. Slightly bumped at ends of spine and a very little rubbing to rear corners. No inscription or name. Very clean and tight. Lovely decorated endpapers by E.Van der Beeke. Colour illustrations on every page by various other illustrators eg. Hilda Boswell. There are also 8 Superb full-page colour plates by Beeke.
