The Admirable Crichton
Heavy hardback (20.3 × 26.7cm). Red buckram covers with Beautiful heavily-embossed gilt decoration and titles on front cover and spine. Small, very neat inscription on blank endpaper (dated 1918). Some browning and foxing due to age at both front and rear blank endpapers and page edges. There are 21 Superb mounted colour illustrations all with paper-guards which have a small decoration and caption by Hugh Thomson.
