She Stoops to Conquer or the Mistakes of a Night
Heavy hardback (20.3 × 26.7cm). Green buckram covers with Beautiful heavily-embossed gilt decoration and titles on front cover and spine. Ends of spine are very slightly bumped. No written inscription or name but there is a small neat bookplate on first blank endpaper. Attractive green decorated double-page endpapers with browning due to age on one side and the same on the rear endpaper. There are 25 Superb mounted colour illustrations in a green decorated frame and a caption in an oval at the bottom by Hugh Thomson.
