Hardback (19.1 × 25.4cm) with dustwrapper. Lovely pictorial covers. Some rubbing and bumping at spine ends and bottom edges and very slight rubbing at corners. Tiny, neat name on blank endpaper. One page has small repaired tear with archival tape at bottom margin. Bright, clean and tight although there are some fingermarks on margins at bottom of pages. Superb colour and black and white illustrations throughout by Edward Ardizzone. Identical pictorial dustwrapper, a little grubby with rubbing at spine ends and corners. Not price-clipped. Has removable, clear protective covering.
