Heavy hardback (21.6 × 27.9cm). Very Attractive pictorial cover by John E. Sutcliffe with red cloth spine and has front cover of the identically illustrated dustwrapper loose inside. A little rubbing to top and bottom edges and two corners of front cover. Slight bumping to ends of spine. No inscription or name. Very bright, clean and tight. A mixture of stories and verses including 5 Superb full-page colour illustrations by Cecily Mary Barker, 1 by Agnes Richardson and 2 by A. E. Kennedy. Also 2 black and white by Louis Wain and a lovely verse by Nina K. Brisley (fairies) and numerous other illustrations. A Very Good copy (for its age) of an old, lovely childrens book.
