My Lovely Big Book
Heavy hardback (21.6 × 27.9cm). Very Attractive pictorial covers with beige decorated cloth spine. A little rubbed at top and bottom edges and corners are well-rubbed and bumped. Rear cover has lists of Blackie books. No inscription or name but there is a neat Sunday School Bookplate (1937) on first free endpaper. Bright, clean and tight. A mixture of stories and verses including 2 Lovely full-page colour plates by B. Butler, numerous verses Delightfully illustrated by Molly Brett, Cicely Mary Barker and 1 by Gladys Peto. Also numerous in black and white, some by Harry Neilson, Ernest Aris etc. A Very Good copy (for its age) of an old, lovely old children's book.
