Hardback (15.2 × 24.1cm) with dustwrapper. Deep turquoise cloth covers with titles in gilt on spine. No inscription or name. Exceptionally clean and tight. Pages and page edges are white and corners are sharp (as new). Stories include "Jack and the Giant-killer", "Henny Penny", "Children in Wood" "History of Tom Thumb" etc. Numerous Wonderful black and white illustrations throughout by Edward Ardizzone. Attractive pictorial dustwrapper. Corners have slight rubbing and tiny repair at top corner. Ends of spine have slight loss of laminate and top front edge is a little creased. Not price-clipped.
