A Kentucky Cardinal and Aftermath
Hardback (12.7 × 17.8cm). Dark green cloth covers beautifully decorated on front cover and spine in gilt (ART NOUVEAU). All round page edges are gilt. No inscription or name. Very clean and tight. Some foxing to front and rear endpapers but not throughout book and foxing to the only tissue-guard on frontispiece illustration. There are 48 Superb black and white illustrations (mainly full-page) by Hugh Thomson. Also every chapter has its first letter superbly illustrated.
